Basic information
The 5th China Graduate Robot Innovation Design Competition is one of the theme events in the series of China Graduate Student Innovation Practice Competitions. It is guided by the Department of Academic Degrees and Graduate Education of the Ministry of Education, organized by the China Association of Degrees and Graduate Education, hosted by Hunan University, and co-organized by the Organization Department of the Changsha Municipal Committee. Aligned with the national strategic demand for “Building a Manufacturing Powerhouse,” the competition aims to cultivate high-level technological innovation talents in the field of robotics, enhance the innovation and design capabilities of graduate students, contribute to the construction of the robotics industry ecosystem, and promote the innovative development of robotics technology and industry.
The on-site finals of this competition are scheduled to take place at Changsha Red Star International Convention and Exhibition Center from August 18 to 20, 2023. It is anticipated that there will be 250 teams, including 200 Ph.D. candidates, 1000 master’s students, and mentors participating in the on-site competition. The preliminary rounds saw the participation of 237 universities, 1177 teams, and 4748 graduate students. Oneway Robotics has been invited to observe the competition and participate in on-site talent recruitment activities.
